Where the story changed
On September 11, 2001 Jesse was part of the first military unit deployed to the Pentagon following the terrorist attack.
Like many who respond to traumatic events, the experience did not stay in the past. For more than twenty years Jesse lived with severe Post-Traumatic Stress that included recurring nightmares and extended cycles of sleeplessness lasting 48–72 hours at a time.
In 2025 Jesse acknowledged what those closest to him had long known — that those experiences had left lasting trauma. Rather than hide from it, he chose to structure life and business in ways that allow him to continue operating at a high level while managing those realities responsibly.

Helping heroes rebuild
In 2017 Jesse and his wife Tara founded the Johnson-Brower Foundation.
The organization created a 12-month Post-Traumatic Stress counseling program that helped more than 3,000 military members, veterans, and first responders receive long-term trauma support.

Building businesses from nothing
Jesse has repeatedly entered industries he knew nothing about and quickly created traction.
One example came in petroleum where he founded the Accredited Petroleum Association and relocated to Houston to run it.
Within the first three months the organization secured more than $200 million in contracted work.

Jesse later entered motorsports where he financed races, drivers, and seasons while negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements inside the NASCAR community.

Throughout his career Jesse has demonstrated an unusual ability: he can enter industries he has never worked in and quickly become one of the most effective operators in the room.
